Resolution settings also seem to be inconsistent, in the main scene it gets cranked up to the maximum possible resolution.
I guess the last thing is due too overwritten quality settings, but its very odd to have the same (almost worse) visual quality with a halved framerate. In the build we can change settings just fine, but in the main scene we get a frame drop from 60 to 30. We bypasses this by starting the MainMenu scene first (short term solution). When I start the load scene to play before the main menu scene, settings dont do anything (and the music is way too loud ) Thank you for the effort you put into developing and publishing this. The level select view already exists so now all we need to do is to implement some logic in code-behind to switch back and forth between our main menu buttons and the level select view.We purchased the Easy Main Menu as framework for our current project, it saves us some time. Open the MainMenu view and add the following click-handlers to the XML: You can also add your own custom dependency properties to your view. The value is the name of the sprite asset file without extension, e.g. Color values can be specified by name (Red, Blue, Coral, etc), hexcode (#aarrggbb or #rrggbb) or rgb/rgba value (“1.0,0.0,0.5” or “1,1,1,0.5”).
Defaults to “0,0,0,0”.īackground color of the view. Specifies the view’s offset from left, top, right, bottom. Specifies the view’s margin from left, top, right and bottom. The Group adjusts its size to its children by default.Īlignment of the view: TopLeft, Top, TopRight, Left, Center, Right, BottomLeft, Bottom, BottomRight. Some views are 100% by default (which means they take up the extent of their parent). Width of the view that can be specified in pixels “10” or percentage “100%”. Open the MainMenu view and edit it so it contains the following: Also note that files with the “_g” postfix are generated (and overwritten) when the XML files are processed. To manually tell the framework to process all content, press the “Rebuild All” button in the Delight window (Window -> Delight). You can now open MainMenuScene.unity which you can run throughout the tutorial to see the main menu taking shape.Īll content files, like the XML files MainMenuScene.xml and MainMenu.xml are automatically processed by the framework as they are changed (if the editor is open). Note you can also manually create new views by choosing Create -> Delight View You now should have the following files in your project: The framework sees that the view MainMenu doesn’t exist and will automatically generate it for you. You’ve now created a scene that is set up to display a single view, the MainMenu. This site uses Just the Docs, a documentation theme for Jekyll.
